1. Seven springs

The main attraction of the Seven Springs is a narrow tunnel that reaches a small lake. The tunnel is 150 meters long and it is so narrow and dark that makes your adrenaline rush! The tunnel as long as the rest of the establishments were constructed by a French company in the 1920’s.
Seven Springs (Epta Piges in Greek) are located between Colymbia and Archipolis and it is considered to be one the most romantic things to do in Rhodes. Some kilometers west from Seven Springs lies the village of Soroni. In the village, the Folklore House of Soroni is one of the most interesting things to visit. The Folklore House of Soroni was created in 1992, in an old traditional stone-built residence. It is decoraded in the fashion of the traditional houses of the village, such as with textiles, embroideries, utensils etc. Moreover some traditional costumes of Soroni are exhibited.
It operates daily from 10:00 until 13:00 & from 16:00 until 19:00.

4. Castle of Monolithos (Kastro Monolithou)
Another one of the best places to visit when in Rhodes is the Castle of Monolithos. Castle of Monolithos started as a watchtower and then, in Byzantine times, it was upgraded to a Castle. Then it was rebuilt in the 15th century by the knights of the Order of Saint John. The reconstruction was completed around 1476, when Grand Master of the Order was D’ Aubusson (1476-1503). His shield is carved above the gate of the castle.
It used to be one of the 4 strongest castles of Rhodes in the Ioannite period.
The Castle is located next to the Monolithos village in the south-west of Rhodes. Even though today it is ruins it worths the efford to climb up the hill and enjoy the astonishing view. Clearly one of the most romantic things to do in West Rhodes!
5. Kritinia Castle (Kastro Kritinias)

It is about 150 meters away from the village of Kritinia. This castle was also constructed by the the Knights of Saint John, with elements of Byzantine and Venetian architecture. It was build around 1472 by Giorgio Orsini to protect the inhabitants of the village from the attacks of the Ottoman fleet and pirates.
